Farewell Evening Star

Posted by Picasa

After nearly 9 years we are hanging up our boat shoes, Evening Star is SOLD to a really nice family in Sydney, so we will still see Evening Star sailing around the NSW area.
We have had a fantastic time on Evening Star and have never been let down by her.
The farewell photos were taken on the C Arm tee head at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht club in Pittwater one of our favourite spots.
We must also say good bye to all our friends we have met in our cruising, it was a delight to meet you all and explore the East Coast of Australia.

Cheers

Simon and Julie

Is this the same Evening Start that used to be at Little Dix Marina in Virgin Gorda?

I used to be on the Sea Star years earlier with the same owner at the time

G'day Simon & Julie, it's Andrew McColl here.
How are you both going ? the yacht looked fantastic and it sounds like you two have had a blast over the years riding the seas.
Say g'day to the whole family.
Cheers
Andrew.

Hello:
Could someone confirm that the Hinkley Evening star was the same as the Evening Star that was at Little Dix Marina for a few years arround 1980 ?

If this is the same, just for information purpose this Hinley was the successor to the Sea Star who was also based at the same marina in the early 70's.
Please confirm if you can.
